Once you’ve got your hands on a system you just need a few simple guidelines in order to help you start living the dream. And we’re more than happy to furnish you with all the necessary info where AutoPots are concerned. As below, so above. The fortunes of your plants will depend to a great extent upon what lies beneath. The right choice of growing medium, whatever style you prefer, will make all the difference. Our Substrate Guide walks you through the basic principles of how to choose the right medium and any pitfalls to avoid.

Find out how to choose the kind of airy, light, and fluffy media that will get you off to a flyer. We cover the pros and cons of those ingredients that support bioactivity and those that ensure the perfect balance of aeration, water-retention, and wicking is maintained. Simple steps will help you prevent pH issues. Little tweaks will give you better capillary action – the drawing of water and nutrient solution up through the pot. Read and download here.
